An unforgettable choral feast awaits as choirs perform pop songs!
Six choirs, namely the Chinese University of Hong Kong Choir, Hong Kong Children’s Choir, Hong Kong Moving Chorus, Zhuhai Grand Theatre Children’s Choir, Zhui No.1 Middle School Star Choir, and Macao Youth Choir, will perform a variety of popular Chinese songs in choral form.
Music Director Ng Cheuk Yin has specially invited popular group Beanies’ members Winky and Chiutung to host. Their lively and vivid charm will draw the audience into the Chinese pop music works performed by the choirs. From the movie song ‘Xuan Cao Hua’ to Hins Cheung’s ‘Invisible Amusement Park’, Beyond’s ‘Really Love You’ to Chan Lei’s ‘Mortal Stars’, each song is well-known and some will be newly arranged to offer the audience a fresh experience!
In addition, Ng Cheuk Yin has meticulously arranged a medley of choral songs, allowing the audience to revisit many classic Chinese pop songs from a new perspective.
