They will soon take the stage at Blue Note Beijing and Blue Note Shanghai on November 22 and 23, 2024 respectively, launching their first China tour since the band was founded 45 years ago! ‘Piper’ is selected from a lyric in the famous Led Zeppelin song ‘Stairway to Heaven’ that Yamamoto Keisuke loves: ‘Then the piper will lead us to reason’. The band’s founder, Yamamoto Keisuke, was once praised by Yamashita Tatsuro as ‘one of the few outstanding guitarists in Japan’, and the Piper band led by him has defined a new era of ambient music with just five albums.
