This vibrant art form, also known as popular art or vulgar art, pursues a relaxed, pleasant, and popular artistic atmosphere. Clothing in the pop art style became a model for fashion pioneers of the time, with distinct patterns, bold and unrestrained colors, and strong color contrasts. It catered to the needs of young people seeking innovation and self-expression.

The China National Silk Museum has curated an exhibition featuring pop art style clothing from its Western fashion collections. Alongside these, it also showcases other 20th-century fashion styles related to pop art, such as Op Art, space style, and abstract art. To this day, pop art continues to inspire artists in various domains, including clothing fashion, art, illustration, and decorative design, rejuvenating in different forms and exerting a profound influence.

The exhibition is open from September 26th to February 28th. Please note that the specific business status is subject to the opening situation on that day.
