Yi Yajing delves into the alternative aspects of everyday materials through deconstruction, superposition, and re-creation. She aims to capture the subtle traces that are reminiscent of those found in nature. In her work, Yi Yajing seeks to achieve a balance between the ‘natural’ and the ‘unnatural’, striving to reconstruct the very concept of ‘nature’.
