Para Site Art Space is pleased to present the exhibition ‘Soul Mist Traces’. This exhibition marks the first major institutional exhibition for the art collective Art Labor from Ho Chi Minh City. The exhibition ‘Soul Mist Traces’ showcases Art Labor’s long-term historical research on the Central Highlands of Vietnam, poetic observations, and nearly a decade of established relationships with the local Jarai community. In addition to displaying recent works and commissioned pieces by Art Labor, the exhibition will also feature works by Jarai artists (with whom a long-term collaboration has been ongoing since 2016), historical archives of missionaries and anthropologists from the French colonial period, and works inspired by the Central Highlands by various artists. The exhibition will be open from August 17th to November 24th, with specific business hours subject to the daily opening status.
