He describes himself as ‘wandering,’ a label that stems from his freedom and cheerfulness, akin to the wind. Every year, Fengzi embarks on a journey, and the determination at the outset is always rooted in creation. It might be to explore other fields beyond his living scene or to gather inspiration for songwriting and creation. Singing while walking and observing always keeps his music fresh, allowing for a vivid and lively presentation. In 2024, he continues to bring the unique freedom that is solely Fengzi’s, ready to set off and sing in various places. Today, Fengzi’s once-a-year tour is officially announced. With sails swaying, he chases new light spots on the wandering sea surface. The theme of this tour is “You Said You Just Fell in Love with the Sea Breeze That Night.”In the plan, the tour will span most of the winter. It starts in Harbin in mid-October when winter just begins and is planned to end in Kunming where it is like spring all year round. Throughout October, November, and December, Fengzi expects to start from cities in the three northeastern provinces in the north, go all the way south and then southwest. With his music, he will complete a once-a-year meeting with fans in different cities.

He is a nearly two-hundred-year-old entertainer who often comes to Macondo to perform his self-composed ballads. In these ballads, he adds his feelings along the way. The sights and sounds from various places on his journey are compiled into melodies by him. In this way, he tells stories from Macondo all the way to the border of the great swamp area without stopping.’ Fengzi feels that, like Francisco, this may also be the meaning of his insistence on touring. Go to various places and meet friends. Some are new friends, and some are old friends who have been listening to him sing many years ago. They are standing in the audience, sincere and passionate, waiting to hear Fengzi sing.
