The musical ‘The Lighthouse’ doesn’t have a thrilling plot. It tells the story of an elderly lighthouse keeper who wants to repair an abandoned pirate ship and sail back to his hometown. To fulfill this wish, the lighthouse keeper hires a young ship repairman named Hope. Then, they coincidentally meet Wyan. A large part of the whole play describes the daily life of the three people with huge differences in age and background getting along with each other with mutual help in pairs. There is no dramatic plot, but it reveals the warmth of human kindness deep in the details.
