The exhibition borrows the imagery of fog and refines the themes that five artists respectively focus on – magic and gardening techniques, control and immune system, listening and ecological cycle, defense and nighttime sneaking, daily life and cultural cooking – into multiple ambiguous narratives that closely adhere to the pathologised characteristics of contemporary society. They attempt to escape the language logic of certain sacred texts (such as science and technology, dictionaries, rules, measures, recipes, prescriptions) and grope for visual symbols that have become symptomatic in the fog. Is uncleanness and disorder a disease? On one side of pathologisation is the abuse of visible pathology and symptoms, and on the back of it hides the voices of so many people who are not paid attention to and cared for. Its domination is like a thin mist. People cannot tell whether it is due to the turbid environment or their own visual defects that they cannot open their field of vision. They only determine the direction of travel by touching the Braille dots written by others.
