2024 Shanghai Chrysanthemum Exhibition

The current chrysanthemum exhibition consists of three major exhibition areas: outdoor scenic area, fine chrysanthemum display area, and flower arrangement and calligraphy and painting art exhibition area. It showcases 180,000 pots of chrysanthemums of more than 500 varieties. Through diversified exhibition layout methods, it displays the ecological and cultural charm of chrysanthemums.

The outdoor scenic area is located in the original flower art museum. Relying on the forest background, eight groups of outdoor scenic spots are arranged. Green sculptures and flower borders are used to create a rich autumn landscape.

The fine chrysanthemum exhibition area is located in the camphor tree square. It displays about 500 chrysanthemum varieties. Combined with the display of chrysanthemum popular science and culture, it interprets the profound Chinese chrysanthemum culture and art from a unique perspective.

The flower arrangement and calligraphy and painting art exhibition area is located in Hongzhuang teahouse. It displays exquisite chrysanthemum flower arrangement art works with chrysanthemums as the main theme. The theme of the calligraphy and painting exhibition is ‘The blend of nature and art: Appreciating the beauty of calligraphy and painting together’, aiming to enhance the public’s appreciation level and cultural literacy of calligraphy and painting art.
