The 2024 Shanghai Super Cup is set to continue its legacy of excitement during the Golden Week in October 2024. The competition is scheduled from October 3rd to 5th at the Pudong Development Bank Oriental Sports Center, also known as the ‘Crown of the Sea’ Stadium, where over 200 elite athletes and international referees from around the world will gather along the Huangpu River. Since its inception in 2016, the Shanghai Super Cup has been held for four editions and has become one of the most influential figure skating events in China, as well as the only annual ice extravaganza held south of the Yangtze River.


In 2023, the Shanghai Super Cup’s return was met with widespread acclaim from athletes and ice enthusiasts, showcasing the charm of Shanghai to the world and providing local ice sports lovers with a long-awaited ice performance. This year, the 2024 Shanghai Super Cup will include three competition categories: short track speed skating, figure skating, and synchronized skating. Short track speed skating will feature men’s and women’s 500m, 1000m, 1500m, and a 2000m mixed team relay, inviting countries and teams ranked at the top of the 2024 International Skating Union Short Track Speed Skating World Cup mixed relay.


Figure skating will include men’s and women’s singles, pairs, and ice dance, inviting figure skaters and pairs ranked in the top 16 from the 2024 World Figure Skating Championships. Synchronized skating will feature short and free programs, inviting teams ranked in the top 10 from the 2024 International Skating Union Synchronized Skating World Championships.

1. The event will be divided into day and night sessions on October 3rd and 4th. After the day session, the venue will be cleared. Please follow the instructions of the on-site staff to leave or enter the venue in an orderly manner.


2. The event requires real-name identification and facial recognition for entry. Spectators should bring their original identification documents for verification.


3. Please cooperate with security checks. Those who refuse will be denied entry.


4. It is strictly forbidden to bring flammable, explosive, and hard or soft packaged beverages, large hard fruits and food, knives, lighters, fragile items, and various hard containers or other hard items into the venue; it is strictly forbidden to bring sharp objects or items that can easily cause personal injury, such as baseball bats, long sticks, long-handled umbrellas, and camera and video camera supports (except for authorized personnel with permits); it is strictly forbidden to bring unauthorized walkie-talkies, various amplification devices (including various large horns), laser devices, radio equipment, and other items into the venue.


5. Do not cross the grandstand fence or enter the competition venue. Otherwise, legal sanctions will be imposed. Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the venue. For smoking, please go to the designated smoking area.



6. Any behavior that disrupts the on-site competition order or public order, endangers the personal safety of others, and other behaviors that may affect the safety of the competition and others. If on-site dissuasion is ineffective, on-site security personnel have the right to persuade the person to leave or forcibly remove them and they will be punished by law. Those who are punished for the above behaviors will be refused entry to watch the game on site.


7. The stadium strictly prohibits the entry of long-handled umbrellas. In case of rainy days, it is recommended that people bring raincoats or short-handled umbrellas. After the game, leave in an orderly manner without crowding and do not loiter around the stadium.


8. The stadium does not provide public parking spaces for watching the game. It is recommended to travel by public transportation for a green journey.


Six. Ticket Purchase Notice


1. This event implements electronic tickets. Tickets are only valid on the day of the event and one person, one ticket (children over 6 years old are required to purchase full-price tickets). Children over 6 years old need to enter with a ticket. Children under 6 years old (inclusive) do not need a separate ticket (accompanied by parents and using the same seat). Children can use valid documents such as household registration books, identity cards, and passports.


2. For each game of this event, each person is limited to purchasing 4 tickets. Ticket purchasers must purchase tickets with the real name, valid personal ID, and valid personal mobile phone number of the spectator. At the same time, spectators must take screenshots and properly keep the electronic ticket information.


3. Refund rules:


(1) For ticket purchasers who purchase tickets through the Jiushi Sports APP platform (including mini-programs), they can apply for a refund to the customer service of the original ticket purchase channel before 24:00 on September 26, 2024 and provide relevant refund information. For refunds, a handling fee of 10% of the actual price paid for the returned ticket will be deducted, and the remaining ticket amount will be returned in the original way within 7 working days;


(2) As of 0:00 on September 27, 2024, no refunds in any form will be accepted.

5. The schedule and specific start time of each game of this event may change. The event organizer has the final right to adjust.


6. Abide by the ‘2024 Shanghai Super Cup Spectator Notice’ and be subject to the jurisdiction of the laws of the People’s Republic of China.

1. This event implements face recognition entry by comparing real-name identity documents. Spectators should bring their original identity documents for verification. Spectators with passports or Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan travel permits and minors without identity cards should enter through the manual service channel after verification.


2. Consciously accept security checks. Those who do not cooperate with security checks will be refused entry.


3. Flammable, explosive substances, soft and hard packaged beverages, large hard fruits and food, knives, lighters, fragile items and various hard containers or other hard objects are strictly prohibited from being brought into the venue. Sharp objects or items that are likely to cause personal injury such as baseball bats, long sticks, long-handled umbrellas, camera and video camera tripods (except for those carried by authorized licensed personnel) are strictly prohibited from being brought into the venue. Unauthorized walkie-talkies, various amplifying devices (including various large speakers), laser irradiation devices, radio equipment and other items are strictly prohibited from being brought into the venue.
