The Laiwu 709 Cultural Industrial Park is located in Tazi Village, Gaozhuang Sub-district Office, Laiwu District. It is mainly based on the former site of the 709 Printing Factory. The former site of the 709 factory is the former Shandong People’s Printing Factory. In September 1972, the Laiyang factory of Shandong Xinhua Printing Factory was relocated to the Shandong People’s Printing Factory. Preliminary production started in May 1973, and the overall project was completed and accepted in October 1974.

The factory covers a total area of 123 mu and is divided into two courtyards, east and west. The east courtyard is a living area with family buildings, single dormitory buildings, canteens, theaters, schools, kindergartens, bathhouses, health centers and other facilities. The west courtyard is a production area with administrative buildings, production workshops, raw material paper warehouses, vehicle fleets and other facilities.

The total building area is 48,000 square meters. At present, 709 has perfectly preserved the characteristic buildings of the 1970s and 1980s. The functional areas are clearly divided, and there are relatively complete industrial remains. It has unique advantages in developing industrial site tourism and building film and television bases.
