Yannanfei Tea Garden Scenic Area is located in Yanyang Town, Mei County, and is an ecological agricultural demonstration base and resort integrating tea production, ecological public forest transformation, landscape gardening, tourism, and vacation. With Hakka culture, tea culture, and eco-tourism culture as its themes, visitors can enjoy authentic Hakka song and dance performances, savor delicious Hakka cuisine, or appreciate elegant tea art performances amidst exquisite garden art and a garden full of flowers.

Additionally, traditional Hakka dishes such as Hakka salt-baked chicken and farmhouse preserved vegetable braised pork are available for tasting. The scenic area mainly features attractions and facilities such as Yannanfei Divine Stone, Yannanfei Avenue, Visitor Center, Tea Emotion Pavilion, tea art performances, Laughing Proud Wanderer Waterfall, Longna Mountain Ecological Valley, Fairy Tea Pavilion, and villa area. The Yannanfei Divine Stone is the resort’s iconic structure, inscribed with the words ‘Yannanfei, Tea Affection,’ which signifies the connection, friendship, and emotional transmission through tea. The tea art performance at Yannanfei Tea Garden Resort includes traditional and modern Gongfu tea, with a brewing process consisting of 18 steps. The first 12 steps are demonstrated by tea art performers, while the last 6 steps focus on tasting. Amidst the mountains and waters, holding a cup to smell the fragrance and savor the nectar allows one to experience the essence of tea culture. The ‘Laughing Proud Wanderer’ waterfall spans 168 meters in length and 4.8 meters in height. Various famous quotes are inscribed on the stone tablet beneath the waterfall, offering much food for thought. Longna Mountain Ecological Valley boasts a pristine secondary forest area with peaks and ridges, a natural large oxygen bar. Opening hours are from 08:00 to 18:00 all year round.
