Tashan Ancient Temple is located in Lianxia Town, Shantou City. It was first built in the second year of Shaoxing in the Southern Song Dynasty. The temple faces south and has a construction area of more than 3,000 square meters. It is divided into buildings such as the main gate tower, the Grand Hall of Sakyamuni. On the west side, there are Guanyin Pavilion, reception room, Patriarch Hall and monk’s quarters. On the east side, there are Ksitigarbha Pavilion and Merit Hall.
