Longteng Valley Drifting is located within Fengxiang Gorge Tourist Area in Fenghu Village, Fenghuang Town, Chao’an District, Chaozhou City, beside Provincial Road 231, near Zhao’an County, Fujian Province, and 25 kilometers away from the urban area of Chaozhou City. The starting point of the drifting section is at the Hubei Water Tail Yang location within Fengxiang Gorge Tourist Area, and the endpoint is at the main gate of the Fengxiang Gorge Tourist Area, with a total length of 3.
2 kilometers and a drop of nearly 156 meters, featuring over 30 rapids and dangerous shoals, taking approximately 2 hours to complete the drift. The main water source of the drifting river comes from the natural mountain spring water of the Phoenix Mountain Range, with excellent water quality and clarity. The natural canyon endows Longteng Valley Drifting with a unique characteristic. Along both sides of the stream, the ecological environment is good, and the scenery is beautiful, integrating tea gardens, waterfalls, deep pools, peculiar stones, jungles, and rare plants. The beauty of the natural scenery and the freshness of the air are astonishing, allowing visitors to truly feel harmony and closeness with nature, and to experience the endless joy of indulging in nature. Opening hours are all year round, Saturday-Sunday 09:30-11:30, 13:00-16:00; all year round, Monday-Friday 09:30-11:30. The scenic area business hours are 09:00-17:00. Drifting times are weekdays (Monday to Friday) between 14:00 and 16:00, and weekends (including national holidays) between 09:30 and 11:30, and 13:00 and 16:00, depending on the weather of the day.
