Beishanwan Beach is located on the eastern part of the Dahao Peninsula in Shantou City, to the south of the Bay Bridge. It is nestled between the mountains and the sea, with gentle slopes and an expansive, flat seabed, adorned with natural rocks. From a distance, the azure waters blend seamlessly with the sky, while the setting sun and the Bay Bridge soar together; up close, you’ll find fishing boats scattered, lush flora, and dappled shades, making it an ideal retreat for people to reconnect with nature and alleviate the stress of urban life. The beach is possibly the only coastal swimming spot in Eastern Guangdong that employs motorboats for lifeguarding services. The operating hours and business status are subject to the daily opening conditions.
