The Wanhua Maze, formerly known as the Yellow Flower Maze, is a garden built in imitation of European mazes. Its main features are: it is made of carved brick walls four feet high, and in the middle is a Chinese-style pavilion. The square formation is 89 meters long from north to south and 59 meters wide from east to west. The total length of the maze walls is more than 1,600 meters, and the wall height is about 1.2 meters. It is composed of maze walls, a central circular pavilion, a Bihua Tower and a back garden. It was once a place of amusement for feudal emperors. Although the diameter distance from the entrance to the central pavilion is only about 30 meters, because this maze is easy to enter but difficult to exit, and it is easy to walk into a dead end.
