The Buddhist Laymen’s Forest in Zhanjiang City is located in Chikan District. It was founded in 1951 and rebuilt at its current address in 1995. Under the leadership of the Zhanjiang Buddhist Association, the Laymen’s Forest aims to protect temples and serve society, and has made some contributions to social construction.
