Taihua Temple is located on Xiuying Avenue, Xiuying District, Haikou City, Hainan Province. The year of its establishment cannot be verified. It was rebuilt in the ninth year of Yongzheng in the Qing Dynasty and in the year of Dingwei in Daoguang. In recent years, the villagers have rebuilt it again. There is only one theme for the painted murals inside and outside the temple, which is the folk story of ‘Three Immortals of Taihua’.
