Donglai Yang National Cretaceous Geopark is a comprehensive geological park that focuses on the evolution history of the Cretaceous period. It features the Cretaceous standard stratotype sections, dinosaur and dinosaur egg fossils, and the remains of the Laiyang biota, encompassing various geological relics such as landforms and aquatic landscapes. Currently, the open areas include the Cretaceous Geological Museum, Zhanghe International Fossil Forest, and Dinosaur Canyon.
The park is open from April 1st to October 31st, Tuesday to Sunday, from 08:30 to 17:00; from November 1st to March 31st, Tuesday to Sunday, from 08:30 to 16:30. The park is closed all day on Mondays throughout the year. The Paleontology Fossil Museum and the Fossil Forest are closed for maintenance every Monday (except on holidays). The multifunctional cinema hall operates on weekends and national holidays from 09:00 to 16:00, showing promotional films on a loop.Cretaceous National Geopark
