Changshan Mountain, originally named Wohu Mountain, derives its name from its resemblance to a reclining tiger. It is located 10 kilometers south of Huanghua Town, in the western part of the town, with an elevation of 297 meters, running in a southwest to northeast direction, covering an area of 5 square kilometers. The name Changshan comes from the ancient practice of having a divine temple on the mountain, where people would often go to pray for rain during droughts. The prayers were always answered, and it was believed that the mountain had a constant virtue, hence the name.

The mountain terrain of Changshan is flat and without danger, with a broad and flat summit, several peaks interconnected, all at an altitude of 297 meters. The southern slope is mostly composed of cliffs and steep walls, while the east and west slopes are slightly more leveled, with mountain paths available for ascending and descending. The northern slope is gentle and easy to climb, which is why many historical sites and cultural relics are distributed on the northern slope. Surrounding the mountain, the terrain undulates with gentle hills stretching continuously, with Changshan Mountain standing out prominently, and the Bixia Palace on the summit adds to its grandeur and spectacle.
