Dongshan Peach Garden • Xiong Xiaomi Theme Park is located within the Rural Revitalization Industry Demonstration Park. It serves as the leading rural revitalization local experience center, radiating over an area of 2 square kilometers, connecting scenic spots, communities, and industry resources such as Dongshan Peach Garden Scenic Area, Zhongbaoxi Village Peach Demonstration Garden, Tianyi Mountain Villa Homestay, and Mengding Training School. Together, they form a multi-industry cluster including food, accommodation, education, culture, and production, jointly constructing the demonstration pilot area for the ‘Huchen Township Light Spot Cluster Rural Revitalization Plan’.
Over a decade ago, this area was barren land, and the site not far away was originally a feed factory. Starting from 2003, Zhongbaoxi actively responded to the ‘Thousand Villages Demonstration, Ten Thousand Villages Rectification’ initiative, beginning the large-scale introduction of Fenghua peach varieties from the Fenghua Peach Research Institute. With the passage of time and the popularity effect of events like the ‘Peach Blossom Festival’ and ‘Peach Festival’, Zhongbaoxi Village demolished the feed factory and other similar places, constructing leisure facilities such as a swing park, viewing platform, and amusement park in the surrounding area.

From planting the first peach tree to possessing a peach forest of tens of thousands of acres, with annual sales of peaches exceeding 100 million yuan and comprehensive tourism revenue exceeding 78 million yuan, it has become a comprehensive rural park integrating agriculture and tourism, with coordinated development. These 11 exhibition panels depict the ‘past life’ of Huchen, from initially ‘selling peaches’ and ‘selling peach blossoms’ to ‘selling ecology’, illustrating how to grow the leisure industry and turn ‘green mountains into gold mountains’. In October 2016, it was successfully rated as a national 3A scenic area, becoming a shining ‘golden business card’ for Huchen rural tourism. The park is open all year round from 09:00 to 17:00.
