The Blue Pearl cruise ship is docked at the Qingdao Olympic Sailing Center Torch Wharf, located in the eastern part of Qingdao City, adjacent to the May Fourth Square and Donghai Road, and was the venue for the sailing competitions of the 29th Olympic Games and the 13th Paralympic Games in 2008. The Blue Pearl cruise ship, launched by Qingdao City Investment Tourism Group Ferry Co., Ltd., is a large cruise ship designed for sea sightseeing tourism, maritime conferences, and maritime weddings.
With a length of 64.77 meters, a width of 15.60 meters, a gross tonnage of 2344 tons, and a passenger capacity of 298 people, it is the only large cruise ship in Qingdao. The cruise ship is divided into three levels, with luxurious decoration. The second-level restaurant is designed with humanization in mind, featuring an open bar, leather sofa seats, and a KTV song selection platform, capable of accommodating over 200 people dining simultaneously. On the third level of the cruise ship, there are two luxurious private rooms, measuring 20 square meters and 25 square meters respectively. The rooms are designed in a simple and elegant style, equipped with LCD TVs and song selection machines, making them suitable for business dining and other activities. The cruise ship departs from the Olympic Sailing Center to the Zhanqiao Pier and back, taking a 70-minute journey, passing through four major bays: Fushan Bay, Taiping Bay, Huiquan Bay, and Qingdao Bay, as well as more than ten beautiful scenic spots, including the Olympic Sailing Center scenic area, May Fourth Square scenic area, Music Square, Taiping Jiao, Seawater Bathing Beach, Badaguan scenic area, Huiquan Jiao, Lu Xun Park, Xiaoqingdao Park, and Zhanqiao Pier.
