The scenic area is equipped with a cable car for ascending the mountain, and many tourists opt to ride the cable car up and down the mountain or take the cable car up and walk down. The cable car can transport visitors near Mi Tian Cave. Mi Tian Cave is an interesting attraction within the scenic area, composed of many large boulders stacked in the crevice between two large cliffs, divided into five layers from bottom to top. Inside the cave, it is winding, twisted, and bizarre, requiring visitors to use various skills such as crawling, climbing, and squeezing to get out.
Continuing to climb after Mi Tian Cave, one eventually reaches the summit, Tianyuan. From here, one can overlook the Yangkou beach below and the distant Yellow Sea. The Yangkou beach is wide and flat with excellent sand quality, making it an ideal beach for swimming. Moreover, the cliff inscriptions scattered throughout the Yangkou Scenic Area are also a major attraction, and one can also see the handwriting of the Yuan Dynasty Taoist Qiu Chuji’s poetry.
