The RedBall Project, created by American artist Kurt Perschke, is acclaimed as one of the world’s longest-standing street art pieces. From December 6th to 15th, Hong Kong will welcome this internationally renowned public artwork, introducing newly discovered wonders to 10 culturally significant locations across the city. This marks the 48th stop of the global tour, which began in 2001, traveling from Paris to Chicago, London to Tokyo, and most recently, Tainan earlier this year. This highly praised and beloved public project will traverse the city daily, moving to a new location for public interaction, creating a series of brief artistic and architectural interventions. A pre-released schedule is set to be announced in mid-November, allowing everyone to engage with the project and encouraging locals and tourists to plan their visits in advance to interact with the RedBall Project. As part of Design Business Week, RedBall Hong Kong will become a city-wide celebration featuring collaborations with local artists, brand partnerships, and event activities, inviting people to participate in the project and stimulating creativity and imagination throughout the city. From Hong Kong Island to Kowloon, RedBall will integrate itself into local architecture, encouraging participants to contemplate the cultural and historical significance of these interventions while offering the opportunity to view familiar places from a new perspective.

The RedBall Project will announce its ‘Hong Kong journey’ itinerary in mid-November, allowing the entire city to witness the charm of the RedBall. Both local audiences and tourists from around the world can plan their itineraries in advance, follow the ‘footsteps’ of the RedBall, and explore the city together, unleashing endless creativity!
