This exhibition is not only a continuation of his artistic creation but also a deep tribute to Hong Kong culture. Lin Wei’er’s love for fish stems from their unique symbolic meanings and vitality. As early as the Mid-Autumn Festival in 2011, he designed a colorful lantern installation ‘Dynamic Fish’ in Victoria Park, which not only showcased the dynamism of fish but also expressed praise for life. In Western art, fish are often depicted as food on the table, while in Chinese culture, fish are endowed with deeper spirituality, symbolizing prosperity and hope. In this exhibition, Lin Wei’er will showcase his clay ceramic works for the first time, marking a new exploration in artistic expression. The flexibility and plasticity of clay allow him to more vividly depict the vitality of objects. Each piece is a profound reflection on life and a blessing to all. We cordially invite you to experience the beauty derived from culture and feel the infinite possibilities of art in life at this exhibition. Open from November 8th to December 8th, Tuesday to Saturday, 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Performance times and durations are subject to the venue.
