In the Nanxi River, there are two small islets. One is like a lion and the other is like a ball. They are named ‘Lion Ball Islets’. Walking along the bank of the Nanxi River, one can see a lion playing with a ball in the sparkling clear waves from a distance. The beach around Lion Rock is wide. When the sun rises and thousands of rosy clouds appear, the graceful reflection can be seen in the green pool. When the bright moon is high in the sky and the cool breeze is blowing gently, rows of bamboo rafts come swaying leisurely from the water. In the utter silence, cormorants that sometimes dive into the water and sometimes jump onto the bamboo rafts occasionally break the tranquility like water.
