Niulanggang Seaside Scenic Area is located in the southeast gulf of Taimumountain Town, 8 kilometers away from the town center and 5 kilometers from Ningde Nuclear Power Station. It is one of the main attractions of the world geological park, key scenic spot, and national AAAA-level scenic area known as ‘Fairyland on the Sea’ – Taimu Mountain. The area integrates the natural scenery of the seaside bathing beach with the Wendu Industrial Park, Ningde Nuclear Power Project Park, Bird Island Nature Reserve, Yushan Tianhu Grassland, and Qingyu Head scenic spot, forming a unique marine natural scenery tourism and viewing area.
The scenic area boasts lush mountains, clear waters, bright and tranquil beaches, gentle waves, deep blue seawater, mild climate, and pleasant temperatures. It features natural landscapes such as Yuanyang Reef, Weaver’s Cave, and Sea Skyline. The scenic area is far from residential areas, with no marine operations and pollution, making it a pocket-sized eco-friendly and exquisite spot. Surrounded by jagged reefs, the coastal scenery is charming, and the view of the bay and beach is like a beautiful and enchanting landscape painting, as well as a meticulously carved giant natural bonsai.
The seaside bathing beach has gentle waves, clear sand, and shaded green trees around the mountains, with clear seawater. Being in this place gives a feeling of being as relaxed as strolling in a courtyard, regardless of wind and waves. The surrounding reefs, shaped by thousands of years of wave erosion, have various shapes, including Tide Sound Cave, Yuanyang Reef, Weaver’s Cave, and Sea Skyline. The environment here is tranquil, and the scenery is charming, making it a wedding photography base in the Fujian and Zhejiang areas, and also providing a good cultural communication and public opinion propaganda atmosphere for TV media from all over the country.
The scenic area is conveniently accessible, only 20 kilometers away from the Taimu Mountain Scenic Area, and is a tourist destination that integrates leisure, tourism, and seaside vacations.
