Established in 2007, the Xiaoqin She Ethnic Folk Exhibition Hall in Jingning She Autonomous County houses a collection of nearly ten thousand historical and cultural products, including precious She ethnic clothing, silver ornaments, household furniture, and handicrafts from thousands of years in She Township, Jingning. These artifacts fully display the hard work, diligence, and ingenuity of the ancient She people and symbolize the inheritance of the ancient She ethnic culture and history.
The entire exhibition hall covers an area of 800 square meters and features 20 exhibition halls, divided into six major series based on She ethnic characteristics: clothing, silver ornaments, furniture, daily necessities, agricultural tools, and other different handicraft exhibition halls. Among them, there are over 6,000 pieces of She ethnic folk embroidery, more than 1,300 pieces of She silver ornaments, over 300 pieces of furniture, over 1,800 pieces of daily necessities, 3,150 She ethnic ribbons, over 800 pieces of agricultural tools, over 200 pieces of She ancestral drawings, and more than 3,000 pieces of other folk handicrafts.
The museum is a She ethnic characteristic exhibition hall organized by the local community, exclusively collected, protected, inherited, promoted, and serves to provide free access to the public. The products in the museum not only have high collection and appreciation value but also serve as an important reflection of contemporary human efforts to explore She ethnic folk cultural heritage and to consolidate She ethnic traditional culture.
