Dashiji, located in the southern Zhejiang mountainous region, is an extension of the Kuocang Mountain range. It is situated at the junction of Huangyan, Yongjia, and Xianju, surrounded by mountains and ridges that stretch on for miles. The average altitude is 900 meters, with the highest peak reaching 1295 meters. The Yongning River in Taizhou and the Nanxi River in Wenzhou both originate here. After the founding of the People’s Republic of China, Dashiji State-owned Forest Farm was established, which is under the jurisdiction of Huangyan County (now Huangyan District, Taizhou City), managing approximately 25,000 acres of ecological public welfare forests. The area is open all year round, with 24-hour access.
