The Xidi·Cambrian Stone Forest Scenic Area is located 13 kilometers southeast of Yixian County, just 5 kilometers away from the World Cultural Heritage site Xidi Scenic Area. It is a unique geological and geomorphological natural landscape in Yixian County, with a stone forest distribution area of 32 hectares (480 acres). The Cambrian Stone Forest is geologically known as karst topography, characterized by numerous peculiar peaks and strange rocks, resembling a giant dragon when viewed from a distance. The rocks in the stone forest are notably featured with ‘slender, wrinkled, permeable, and transparent’ characteristics, which are highly aesthetically pleasing. Between these rocks, some are interconnected and extend to form the stone forest, while others stand proudly and independently in various shapes, each forming a unique scene, marveling at the magical and wonderful craftsmanship of nature.
Apart from the extraordinary rocks, the Cambrian Stone Forest also incorporates elements of ‘pastoral and flower sea’, with a total area of 40,000 square meters for the stone forest flower sea. Flowers bloom all year round here, creating a stunning flower sea theme. In this area, different colors and varieties of flowers are planted together, forming a colorful rainbow flower field that is pleasing to the eye and very impressive. The Cambrian Stone Forest flower sea is themed ‘Flower Sea Stone Forest, Happiness Follows’, catering to the aesthetic tastes of young people today.
