It is conveniently situated near the Wuzhou Avenue and Shugang Expressway, less than 6 kilometers from the city center of Yiwu, the ancient town of Futang, and the brown sugar town of Yiting. The base, known as ‘Acorn Fruit’, aims to create the first insect-themed ecological research and learning base in Yiwu City, integrating leisure and educational entertainment. It features areas such as the Home of Ants, Insect Forest, Insect Hotel, Insect Breeding Area, Insect Science Education Garden, Insect Specimen Room, Carboniferous Corridor, Farming Area, Water Park, Pet Feeding, Graffiti Corridor, Parent-Child Go-Kart, and Youth Sensory Training Camp. The ecological environment within the park is beautiful, with a rich variety of live insects available throughout the seasons, facilitating practical experience activities such as insect collection, breeding, observation, and specimen making. The base offers special insect science education-themed research and learning courses for parent-child activities for children below the third grade. Stepping into ‘Acorn Fruit’ is like entering an insect kingdom: among the rows of oak trees, on the lush green grass, and in the gentle streams, there are several-meter-tall praying mantises, three to four-meter-long centipedes, ants larger than fists, ladybugs bigger than pot lids, dung beetles larger than bulls, and even giant rare insects from South America and ancient times. These models are both cool and quirky, waiting for children to explore! The farming area, pet area, and water play area are waiting for children to get close and experience! The go-kart area and sensory training area are waiting for children to bravely surpass themselves!
