Dongyang Riverside Landscape Wetland Park is located along the banks of the Dongyang River, covering an area of over two hundred acres. The park features tranquil ponds with lush aquatic plants, meandering streams with a rustic charm, and artificial wetlands teeming with a variety of flora. Over ninety species of plants, including ginkgo, hibiscus, coral trees, reeds, canna lilies, water lilies, metasequoia, and Chinese tallow trees, compete for beauty within the park. When in full bloom, the flowers can obscure the wooden viewing walkways in the wetlands.
As the autumn flowers fade, ginkgo, metasequoia, and Chinese tallow trees create a golden canopy over the park. In winter, the wetland park exudes a sense of solitude, evoking a feeling of desolation akin to the phrase ‘the wind is bleak and the Yi River cold.’ Additionally, the park boasts two cultural landmarks: Le Mountain Ancestral Hall and General’s Platform.Dongyang Riverside Landscape Wetland Park
