The Min Yue Wang City ruins are located 24 kilometers south of the Wuyi Palace scenic area in Wuyi Mountain, Fujian Province, in the southern part of Chengcun Town, Xingtian Town. Constructed in 202 BC, it was a royal city built by King Min Yue, Wu Zhu, when he was enfeoffed by Emperor Gaozu of Han, Liu Bang. The site covers an area of approximately 480,000 square meters with rammed earth city walls reaching 2896 meters high, and the outline is still faintly discernible. It is an important archaeological site in southern China, well-preserved, exceptionally large in scale, and rich in unearthed artifacts. It has been listed as a fourth batch of national key cultural relics protection units and in December 1999, as a natural site within Wuyi Mountain, it was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List.

Opening Hours: The site is open all year round from 8:00 to 17:00.
