Qingyuan, also known as Xiao Taoyuan, is located on the eastern line of Wuyuan and has a history of over 1300 years. A small stream, approximately 10 meters wide, runs through the village, dividing the ancient village into eastern and western parts. When the rapeseed flowers bloom, the simple and ancient village is surrounded by golden seas of flowers, where sketchers and photography enthusiasts can be seen everywhere.

At the entrance of the village, there is a ‘Bie You Tian Ancient Pavilion’, where guests were bid farewell in ancient times. Now, it also serves as a convenient place for tourists to rest or shelter from the rain. The horizontal couplet at the original entrance of the pavilion reads ‘Deep in the Peach Blossom Spring’, from which the village gets its nickname as Xiao Taoyuan.

Although it does not have the grandeur of Jiangling, Qingyuan has its own unique charm. At the entrance of the village, there are patches of rapeseed flower fields, and within the village, there are small bridges and flowing water, making the scenery fresh and pleasant. The village is not large and retains its original and rustic rural atmosphere, which is quite peaceful. There are only a few small inns and restaurants within the village, with a light commercial atmosphere and fewer tourists, mostly those who come for photography and sketching. At the entrance of the village, the Cha Ji Distillery is an artistically styled small bar where you can taste the kiwi wine.
