Liuxian Valley Scenic Area

Liuxian Valley Scenic Area covers an area of approximately 3,000 acres. It is located in the central part of Shandong Province, in Zichuan District, Zibo City, on the east side of Wusong Mountain in Hongshan Town, on the eastern outskirts of Zichuan City. It is a rare natural geological and cultural heritage site in the north. Legend has it that this area was where Pu Songling escaped the turmoil of the world and focused on writing. Due to the lush vegetation and shady green trees, the temperature is 2 to 3 degrees lower than the average, making it an ideal place to escape the heat in summer.

The scenic area features steep mountains, cliffs, and a variety of attractions including Zha Mountain Courtyard, Qingfeng Temple, Fairy Cave, the statue of Maitreya Buddha with a big belly, and cave stone houses. Every year in the ninth lunar month, a temple fair is held where visitors can participate in blessing activities.
