Hutoucun Village, a renowned village in Jian’ou, offers a picturesque experience akin to stepping into a traditional Chinese rural ink painting. The village features exquisite architecture with grey bricks, white walls, and black tiles, complemented by small bridges over flowing streams and charming residences, all contributing to its stunning beauty.

In the history of Chinese folk architecture, there are three major schools: the Suzhou garden-style Su architecture, the ancient Huizhou-style Hui architecture, and the Shanxi Qiaojia Dayuan-style Jin architecture. Hutoucun Village uniquely combines the best of these three schools, capturing the essence of Su, Hui, and Jin styles, while preserving the simple and rustic characteristics of the Min architecture.
