Fude Bay Ancient Village is a historical village that was born and prospered due to the mining and refining of alum. The entire village is built along the natural mountain body of Jilong Mountain, facing north. Today, it has risen and declined with the fate of alum. The old street of Fude Bay is surrounded by the remains of alum refining, which is built along the mountain, over 100 meters long and 3 meters wide. There are more than 60 houses on both sides, each 1 to 2 stories high, built at the end of the Ming Dynasty and the beginning of the Qing Dynasty, with wooden or brick-wood structures, making it the birthplace of the historical culture of alum production in Alum Mountain. The entire text is open all year round, accessible 24/7.
