Exiting the Xi Shi Hall from the hometown of Xi Shi, one can immediately see a pavilion with an overhanging eave standing on the riverbank, known as the Huan Sha Pavilion, also referred to as the Xi Shi Pavilion, which complements the Huan Sha Stone beautifully.
Descending the steps to the east side of the pavilion, one arrives at a small flat area where, on the right high bank, there are five large stone-carved characters written by Sha Menghai, which read ‘Xi Shi’s Washing Place’.
