The Yushan Lighthouse is located on the top of Beiyushan Mountain. It was first built in 1895 (the 21st year of Guangxu in the Qing Dynasty). It is a lighthouse on the easternmost side of China. The tower body is in the shape of a truncated cone and is made of pig iron. The original lighthouse mirror machine was a special mirror machine made by the French company ‘Barbier’ with a range of up to 25 nautical miles. In 1944, the lighthouse lamp was destroyed in the war. The lighthouse was renovated again in 1987. Open all year round and all day long.
