Located at the entrance of the Lingfeng Scenic Area, also known as Stone Buddha Rock and Old Monk Rock, this rock formation strikingly resembles an elderly monk with a bald head, wearing a robe, facing southeast, and making a gesture of welcoming guests. A Qing Dynasty poet described this scene as: ‘Standing at the mountain pass, he smiles and beckons to passers-by.’
Viewing Guide: The ideal spot to appreciate this view is from the Stone Buddha Pavilion. Looking southwest from the Shuizhang New Bridge head, the view is also quite vivid.
