The Puzhao Tower, also known as the lamp tower, is located on the precipitous cliffs in the northeast corner of Penglai Pavilion. It was first built in 1868 (the seventh year of Tongzhi period in the Qing Dynasty) and was used as a beacon light for navigating ships at night. In 1958, it was renovated. It is a three-story brick-wood structure, covering an area of 25 square meters. The tower body is hexagonal. The roof has dougong brackets. There is a spiral staircase inside. The top floor is wooden structure. Six columns support it like a pavilion, and there are wooden guardrails around. After the navigation lighthouse on Tianheng Mountain was put into use in the 1950s, the navigation function of this lamp tower gradually disappeared. Now it is one of the important buildings in the ancient building complex of Penglai Pavilion. Together with Binri Tower and Lvzu Hall, it forms the characteristic symbol of the fairyland Penglai.

Opening hours: Open all year round from 08:00 to 17:00.
