The Sanhe Tan site is located in Nanshan Village, Chengguan Town, Yuhuan City, Zhejiang Province. It is in a mountain basin and is almost surrounded by mountains on all sides. It is formed by the confluence and impact of three small streams (Lanhua Stream, Dafu Stream, and Longtan Stream). There is often accumulated water here, named ‘Sanhe Tan’. A large number of cultural relics from the Neolithic Age, as well as the Shang, Zhou, Spring and Autumn, Warring States, Han and Tang dynasties have been unearthed successively. In March 2005, the ancient cultural site of Sanhe Tan was listed as a provincial-level cultural relic protection unit and has very important value. The specific opening hours are subject to the on-site announcements of the scenic spot.
