Sanfeng Temple was built in the first year of Dazhong Xiangfu in the Northern Song Dynasty (1008). It is named because it is built at the foot of three major peaks. At the end of the Ming Dynasty, the temple was destroyed, and only three stone Buddhas remained. It was rebuilt in the Kangxi period of the Qing Dynasty. Nowadays, there are buildings such as the Mahavira Hall, bell tower, and drum tower in Sanfeng Temple. It is one of the larger Buddhist activity places in Linhai urban area. The specific business hours and opening status are subject to the opening situation on the day.
