Puzhen Zen Temple is located in Jing’an Village, Xinqian Street, Huangyan District, Taizhou City, Zhejiang Province. It was originally built in the third year of the Xuande period of the Ming Dynasty. The temple is renowned for its thriving incense and the widespread worship of Mazu culture across the seven counties of Taizhou. Every year, on the third day of the third lunar month, a grand and solemn temple fair is held, attracting people from all surrounding areas to gather for the competition of gods and the performance of social dramas.
