Linhai Jiuwan Orchid Professional Cooperative was established in 2006 and is the first specialized economic organization in Zhejiang Province primarily engaged in orchid cultivation and sales. It has more than 80,000 potted orchids and over 200 ground-planted orchids. In 2012, the ‘Linhai Orchid Culture Expo Museum’ was established, covering an area of 5000 square meters with a total investment of 4 million yuan. The museum is divided into ‘four halls and three areas’, with ‘four halls’ referring to the Orchid Culture Hall, Orchid Celebrity Hall, Orchid Science and Education Hall, and Orchid Appreciation Hall, and ‘three areas’ including the orchid cultivation demonstration area, bonsai sightseeing area, and leisure and entertainment area. It not only provides a place for orchid enthusiasts and the general public to appreciate, taste, and exchange orchids but also offers health knowledge about ‘eating orchids’, promoting orchid culture and passing on orchid knowledge. Open all year round from 09:00 to 17:00.
