The Eighteen-hole Reservoir in Wenzhou is named after the legend that there are eighteen tombs in the reservoir area canyon. It is located in the canyon between Niumian Mountain and Lion Mountain in Jinshan Village, Mazhan. It is also called Niushi Reservoir. The reservoir is a wonder, with a flat lake emerging from a high gorge. Surrounded by green mountains and clear waters, the surface of the water shimmers. On rainy days, the mountain scenery is hazy, seeming both real and illusory.
