The Huangdi Temple plaza is flanked by the Five Spirits and the Six Phases on its left and right sides, respectively. On the right side, the Five Spirits include the Azure Dragon, the White Tiger, and the Qilin, among others.
On the left side, the Six Phases represent the six clans of the Huangdi tribe. The burial mound visible on the left is the Yan Emperor’s tomb, and the temple seen in front is the Huangdi Temple.
