The Liufengjian scenic area is located within Liufeng Township. It is 12 kilometers away from Chengtian Radon Spring. The main peak has an altitude of 1056 meters. Standing on the peak, one can overlook the land of Zhejiang and Fujian, and also gaze at the sea of Fujian. There is a spring on the mountain that never dries up all year round. The water is clear and refreshing. People in the Song Dynasty called it the ‘holy spring’. In the Jiawu year of the Guangxu period of the Qing Dynasty, a stone palace was built on the top of the main peak and it was called ‘the number one mountain in the world’. Pilgrims come in an endless stream. There are a series of scenic spots such as thirteen rocks and fourteen caves.
