Hui Guang Pagoda was originally constructed during the Tang Dynasty’s Da Zhong era, located to the south of Dong Xi (Long Xi) and to the right of the Xiang Elephant Mountain (specifically on the tip of the elephant’s trunk). It is a seven-story brick pagoda that was reconstructed in the fourth year of the Yuan Dynasty (1267 AD). Hence, it was named accordingly.
