Located at the northwest intersection of Dagao Bridge and Renzi Alley in Lucheng District, this scenic spot marks the site of the founding of the Independent Branch of the Chinese Communist Party in Wenzhou, originally situated at Xinmin Primary School in Houyaxiang, which was demolished due to turbulent times. In 2007, the local government established a memorial pavilion near the original site. The pavilion, designed in a traditional square shape, features a hanging stele inscribed with the ‘Wenzhou Independent Branch’ inscription, allowing visitors to pay their respects.
